December 4th, 2019 marks the 15th anniversary of the disappearance of Boise man Ahren Barnard and the Boise Police Department is continuing to search for answers in this open investigation. As previously released, Boise Police don’t have suspects or evidence of foul play but detectives do believe Barnard was endangered when he went missing. Mr. Barnard's family firmly believes he would try to contact loved ones if he were able.
Missing: Ahren "Benji" Benjamin Barnard, born 1969
Last Seen: Dec. 4, 2004 at a fast food restaurant at Cole & Overland in Boise.

The Boise Police Department detective currently assigned to the investigation along with members of Ahren’s family will be available for media interviews on the December 4th anniversary.

Candlelight Vigil: Ahren’s friends and family will also be holding a candlelight vigil at the Boise Police Department on the evening of December 4th at 7:15 p.m. The community is invited to attend.

The Investigation: Boise Police detectives have been investigating Ahren’s disappearance since Dec. 4th, 2004. The case remains an open and active investigation. Detectives have received multiple tips throughout the years since Ahren Barnard’s disappearance, and continue to follow up on new leads, some as recently as this past summer. Investigators have identified a handful of persons of interest and continue to search for people with more information. Detectives ask that anyone with information contact Crime Stoppers.
