BPD Detectives Investigating Serious Bicycle vs Vehicle Crash

Around 4 p.m. Boise Police officers responded to a bicycle vs. vehicle crash on Front Street at 8th Street.  The male adult bicyclist was taken to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries. BPD Criminal Investigation Unit detectives and a crash scene reconstruction team responded to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.  The bicyclist was traveling south on 8th Street and the driver of the vehicle was traveling west on Front Street. No charges have been filed at this time. Several lanes of traffic were closed for the investigation and those lanes should be reopening shortly.
