Boise Police officers responded to a vehicle versus bicycle crash at 10:17 a.m. on Tuesday at the eastbound I-84 on-ramp at Cole Road. Evidence gathered on scene indicates that a semi-truck was turning right onto the on-ramp when it struck and ran over the cyclist as he was crossing in the crosswalk. The cyclist, an adult male, was transported to an area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. The driver of the semi, 65-year-old Antonio Cordova of Nampa, was cited for inattentive driving.
