Boise Police Patrol officers were dispatched to an aggravated battery and robbery that reportedly occurred just before 12:45 a.m. on Friday morning in the area of N. 13th Street and Heron Street. Officers quickly arrived on scene and located an adult male victim who had been cut on the neck. Ada County Paramedics also responded and transported the victim to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
What Happened: According to witnesses, the victim and two others had been approached by three unknown men in a park. The strangers demanded money from the three victims and then cut one on the neck with a knife. The suspects then fled the area on foot. Officers established a perimeter and a K9 track was conducted, but the suspects were not located.
Members of the Boise Police Violent Crimes Unit have taken over the investigation and are attempting to locate the suspects. Detectives are looking for information on three or four white male adults who were in the area of N. 13th Street and Heron Street at the time of the aggravated battery.
Suspect Descriptions: One suspect is described as being approximately 5’11” tall, thin, with “stringy” hair. Another suspect is described as being approximately 6’3” tall, with a thin build and facial hair.
