Boise Police investigating early morning stabbing, ask anyone with information to contact Dispatch at 208-377-6790

At around 12:10 a.m. on Sunday morning, Boise Police patrol officers were dispatched to an area hospital where two adult males were each being treated for non-life threatening stab wounds.  The wounds were believed to be inflicted just before midnight in an altercation which occurred on the 2100 block of Illinois Avenue.  The suspect is unknown to the victims.  Officers responded to the reported scene of the incident but did not locate anyone who matched the description of the stabbing suspect.  Members of the BPD Violent Crimes Unit also responded to the scene and the investigation remains ongoing.

Suspect Description:  The stabbing suspect is described as being a black male adult.  He was wearing jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt with the hood up.  A red bandanna was tied around his neck at the time of the altercation.
