Thursday, October 10, 2019 at 11:04 a.m. emergency responders were dispatched to a call for service at a home on the 2600 block of South Greenwood Circle. When crews arrived they found the body of a woman and a dog in a bedroom with the door closed. Fire investigators were able to determine that a small fire had started in the room in the last 24 hours and that the fire had burned out on its own. The fire was contained to the bedroom and at this time the cause of the fire is undetermined. Boise Police and the Ada County Coroner’s Office are continuing to investigate to determine the woman’s official cause of death and they are awaiting further test results. The identity of the victim will be released by the Ada County Coroner.
