Officers investigating reported robbery

UPDATE:  Officers do not believe a weapon was used in the robbery which was reported Thursday evening on the 1400 block of Liberty Street.  The investigation remains ongoing and officers continue to search for information about the suspect, 31-year-old Elijah Black.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact non-emergency dispatch at 208-377-6790.

Previously Released--

Boise Police patrol officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at 5:14 p.m. Thursday at a residence on the 1400 block of Liberty Street.  Officers arrived on scene and performed an area search but did not locate a suspect.  Initial investigation indicates that a male adult forced his way into a home and struggled with the resident before fleeing with the victim’s wallet.  The suspect, who is known to the victim, is identified as 31-year-old Elijah Black.  The victim was attended to by Ada County Paramedics on scene.

Suspect Description:  Elijah Black is described as a light-skinned black male adult, approximately 6’0” tall and weighing around 200 pounds.  He was wearing gray sweatpants and a gray sweatshirt this evening.
