On Friday, April 17, 2020, around 10:45 am Boise Police responded to a home on Gossamer lane and began an investigation. An injured victim was taken to the hospital by Ada County Paramedics where the victim was pronounced deceased. The Ada County Coroner has identified the victim as Robert Castoro of Boise.
As previously released to the media, detectives did not find any evidence that a crime had been committed leading to the man’s injuries or death. The investigation included reviewing home surveillance video from inside Castoro’s house. Based on evidence in the video, detectives were able to see how the injuries occurred and they were able to verify that no one else was inside the home at the time. The investigation is complete and no additional information will be released.
