February 7, 2020

Arrested:  Berle A. Cullum, 61, Boise

Charged:  Drug Trafficking (F)

While carrying out a search warrant on a hotel room on the 2500 block of S. Vista Avenue on Thursday night, Boise Police officers made contact with an adult male who had walked up and was believed to be staying in the room.  Officers detained the man and a safety check of his person revealed him to be in possession of a knife and a suspected narcotics pipe.  Officers took the man, identified as Berle Cullum, into custody.  Further investigation revealed that Cullum was in possession of a backpack which contained several baggies of suspected methamphetamine.  In total, officers located over 1.5 ounces of suspected meth in the backpack, which is well over the drug trafficking minimum in the State of Idaho.  Officers transported Cullum to the Ada County Jail where he was booked for felony drug trafficking of methamphetamine.
