BPD investigating after rally leads to confrontation

Around 8:00 p.m. Boise Police responded to a report of a fight at the northeast corner of W. State Street and N. Veterans Memorial Pkwy. Two groups, each roughly two dozen people in size, were in a confrontation that became aggressive following a rally at the intersection. There were reports of fighting, pepper spray being used and the use of a megaphone.
