Just after midnight, Boise Police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery at a business near W. State Street and N. Horseshoe Bend Road.  The suspect pointed a gun at the victim working at the store and demanded money.  The suspect also struck the victim with another object, causing minor injuries to the victim, before fleeing the scene.   Police immediately searched the area and worked to find additional witnesses. Officers were unable to find the suspect but evidence suggests the suspect ran north of State Street and along Utahna Road. Boise Police Violent Crime Unit detectives are now investigating and ask anyone with information to call police.
