Update: BPD searching for parents, two children for welfare check

Update: Thanks to a quick response from our community, we have been able to check the welfare of these children and there are no immediate concerns for their safety.  Boise Police Department detectives are continuing to investigate and we appreciate the public’s help in quickly sharing information and calling in tips.

The Boise Police Department is working to check the welfare of two children last seen around 11 am on Monday. 1-year-old Ezekiel and 3-year-old Josiah were last seen with their mother Destiny and Ezekiel’s father Lucio in a parking lot on the 5000 block of W Overland. Following an incident reported at that location, police are concerned for the health and safety of the children and believe they may be in danger. They were seen leaving the parking lot in a silver 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe with license plate 1A6962V.

Call Police: If anyone has seen the children, Destiny, or Lucio, or has information about where they might be, please call non-emergency dispatch at 208-377-6790. You can also make a tip to Crime Stoppers at 208- 343-COPS (2677), www.343COPS.com, or leave a tip using the “P3 Tips” app for your mobile device. Officers ask that if you see Destiny or Lucio, call 911 and do not approach them.
