Boise Police arrested two suspects today as part of an ongoing investigation into a domestic battery and attempted strangulation report.

Around 9:45 am on September 28, 2022, officers from the Boise Police Neighborhood Contact Unit were doing surveillance on the 900 block of E. Parkcenter Blvd as there were concerns about a suspect stalking a victim.  During their surveillance, officers located and made contact with the suspect, Forest Saba. He was in a vehicle driven by a second subject, later identified as Spencer Fletcher.  Information previously indicated that Saba was likely armed.  Officers took extra precautions to safely make contact with the suspects.  Saba initially resisted arrest and officers were forced to deploy a taser on Saba, before taking him into custody.  Saba and Fletcher were found to be in possession of multiple firearms and are each facing charges of felon in possession of a firearm. Saba was also found to be in possession of drugs. Evidence indicated that Saba was stalking the victim with assistance from Fletcher.

The investigation into the domestic violence report is ongoing and additional charges are possible.  The victim is receiving services from the Boise Police Victim Witness Unit.
