Arrested: Frank Harvey, 23, Seadrift, TX
Charges: Fugitive to Idaho (F)
Saturday morning, April 29, 2023, Boise Police officers received information about a possible fugitive in Boise. The suspect, Frank Harvey, had a confirmed warrant out of Victoria, Texas for the charge of murder. Officers spent time searching for the vehicle associated with the suspect and located it in a parking lot near Overland and Orchard. Officers put an arrest plan into place and officers from BPD’s Special Operations Unit (SOU) safely took the suspect into custody without incident around 1:30 p.m. The suspect was booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges.
This investigation came after another significant response to an unrelated incident at State and 13th Street.
“I want to commend our officers on their efforts to assist an out-of-state agency and quickly locate the suspect of a violent crime,” said Captain James Quackenbush. “Officers along with members of SOU developed a tactical plan that first and foremost kept the community safe during the arrest and kept the involved officers and the suspect safe as well.”
