On June 20, 2024, just after 10:30 pm, Boise Police officers responded to a vehicle vs. motorcycle crash in the area of W. Preece Dr. and N. Milwaukee St. Evidence indicates that as the driver of a vehicle was turning southbound onto Milwaukee from Preece, an adult male motorcyclist traveling northbound on Milwaukee crashed into the vehicle.
Officers began providing care to the motorcyclist before paramedics arrived on scene. The motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and later died from his injuries. BPD’s Crash Reconstruction Team and detectives responded to investigate the crash. The scene was secured, and Milwaukee was shut down in both directions for approximately four hours. The driver of the vehicle remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time. The Ada County Coroner’s Office will identify the victim pending next of kin.
