Arrested: Esteban Lampe, 24, Boise

On June 11, 2024, shortly before 6 pm Boise Police officers responded to a report of a fight with a weapon on the 4000 block of W. Fairview Ave. Evidence indicates this began as an altercation between the occupants of two vehicles. The victim observed the suspect, Esteban Lampe driving recklessly on Eastbound Fairview near Orchard St. The victim displayed a nonverbal gesture toward the suspect and Lampe began tailgating and following the victim’s vehicle to their destination on Fairview. The victim and suspect both exited their vehicles, and there was a verbal altercation which turned into a physical altercation. During the fight Lampe stabbed the victim multiple times with a knife. The victim was treated for his injuries on scene but declined to be transported to the hospital by paramedics. He later self-transported to the hospital and was treated for serious injuries.
Based on information gathered during their investigation officers conducted an area check near the 900 block of W. Main St. Officers located Lampe’s vehicle in a nearby parking lot and additional officers located and made contact with Lampe as he was walking near 11th and Main. Following an investigation Lampe was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charge.
