Arrested: Jeremiah Allen, 50, Boise
Charges: Involuntary Manslaughter (F), Delivery of a controlled substance (F) – 4 counts, Drug Trafficking (F) – 2 counts
On February 12, 2024, around 3:30 pm, Boise Police officers responded to the 6700 block of W. Fairview Ave to assist EMS with a call for service. Two subjects had been found unresponsive in the home and there was evidence of drug use including drug paraphernalia and baggies of suspected narcotics. The male subject, Jeremiah Allen, was transported to a local hospital, and a female subject was pronounced deceased at the scene. Boise Police and the Ada County Coroner began a death investigation. The coroner found that the female died from a mix of four illegal drugs including fentanyl, cocaine, methamphetamine, and PHP. During the investigation, evidence showed that Allen provided the victim with the drugs that caused her death. Allen was treated and released from the hospital and after further investigation, he was arrested on a warrant for the listed charges on May 6, 2024, and booked into the Ada County Jail.
The Ada County Sheriff’s Office was also investigating Allen on separate charges of Drug Trafficking and he was wanted on a warrant for those charges when he was arrested by Boise Police yesterday.
The identity of the female victim will be released by the Ada Coroner’s Office.
