Boise Police investigating single-vehicle crash on Capitol Blvd

On April 15, 2025, shortly before 3 am, Boise Police responded to a single-vehicle crash into a tree on S. Capitol Blvd. north of W. Crescent Rim Dr. Upon arrival, officers located a single female occupant unresponsive in the driver’s seat of the vehicle. Fire crews arrived on scene, extracted the female driver from the vehicle, and began performing life-saving measures. She was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Preliminary evidence indicates the driver of the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed, drove over the median, across southbound traffic lanes, and crashed into a tree on the west side of the road. There were no other vehicles involved in the collision. The investigation is ongoing.
