Just before 10:15 a.m. this morning, Boise Police officers, Boise Fire crews, and Ada County Paramedics responded to a report of a single motorcycle crash on W. Lemhi Street near S. Vista Avenue.
Despite life-saving measures by Boise Fire and Paramedics, the adult male rider was pronounced deceased at the scene.
A preliminary police investigation indicates the rider was experiencing a medical emergency while traveling westbound on Lemhi Street across Vista Avenue. The motorcycle went off the roadway, and while the rider attempted to return to the street, the motorcycle eventually came to a stop in the road.
The investigation remains ongoing. The identity of the motorcyclist will be released by the Ada County Coroner’s Office pending notification of next of kin.
