On August 2, 2025, shortly after 9:30 pm, Boise Police officers responded to a business on the 6300 block of W. Fairview Ave. for a reported shots fired call. As officers responded, they learned that a battery had also occurred involving multiple suspects who fled in a vehicle before officers arrived. Evidence indicates suspect Bailey Geesey entered the business and stole alcoholic beverages. Geesey was confronted by an employee who told her to leave and not return. She then approached the employee and punched him in the face. A physical altercation between the two occurred before two additional suspects, Junior Antonio Alvarodo Hernandez and a male juvenile, entered the store. They also began assaulting the employee, who was on the ground. The employee was repeatedly punched, kicked, and stomped on as he remained on the ground, backed into a corner of the store. The employee pulled out a firearm and fired at the suspects, striking Alvarodo Hernandez. The three suspects exited the store and drove away. The employee was transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers located a vehicle matching the suspect vehicle description at N. Curtis Rd. and W. Irving St. and conducted a traffic stop. All three suspects were in the vehicle. Following an investigation, Geesey was arrested and booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges, and the juvenile suspect was booked into the Ada County Juvenile Detention Center. Officers provided medical aid to Alvarodo Hernandez for a single gunshot wound before he was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He was later booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charge.
