On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, neighborhoods across the country, and here in the City of Boise, will celebrate National Night Out. This year, there are 50 registered parties scheduled across the City of Boise.
National Night Out is celebrated every year on the first Tuesday in August, and is designed to help build safer and more caring communities. This annual event gives you the opportunity to build stronger community partnerships by getting to know your neighbors, local business owners, city leaders, and first responders. Organizers who registered their parties with the Boise Police Department were able to request visits from police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and city council members.

There may also be additional parties in your area that are not registered with the Boise Police Department. We encourage you to reach out to your neighbors or Homeowners Associations to see if anything is being planned where you live.
