Boise Police arrest Armed Robbery suspect on multiple charges

Charges: Robbery (F), Enhancement - Use of a Deadly Weapon in Commission of a Felony (F), 2 counts - Controlled Substance – Deliver, Possess or Manufacture with intent to Deliver, Drug Paraphernalia (F), Drug Paraphernalia – Use or Possess with Intent to Use (M)

On June 1, 2025, just after 4:30 pm, Boise Police responded to a business on the 800 block of S. Cole Rd. for a reported armed robbery that had just occurred. Evidence indicated a male suspect entered the store, approached two employees, and presented a knife while demanding money from the register. The suspect took the cash and left the store before fleeing on a skateboard.

After further investigation, Boise Police Violent Crimes detectives identified the suspect as Vincent Cummings and obtained a warrant for his arrest. On June 4, 2025, BPD Neighborhood Contact Officers located the suspect, and he was taken into custody without incident. During his arrest, officers located drugs and a large quantity of drug paraphernalia intended for both illegal drug use and sales in his bag. Investigators later served a search warrant at his residence in the area of Maple Grove and Emerald and located additional evidence related to the armed robbery. Cummings was booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges.
