On March 12, 2025, shortly before 7:30 pm Ada County Dispatch received information that a subject believed to be Edward Prescott, the third suspect in an armed robbery at a bank on February 27, 2025, was riding a bike in the area of W. Fairview Ave. and N. Allumbaugh St. Officers responded to the area and made contact with Prescott. Prescott was arrested on the outstanding warrant and booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charge.

On February 27, 2025, around 4 pm Boise Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at a bank on the 700 block of E. Parkcenter Blvd. Initial information showed the suspect brandished a handgun during the robbery, and then fled on a motorcycle with another person. Shortly before the robbery took place, Boise Police responded to a false 911 call reporting an active shooter at a business on the 10400 block of W. Fairview Ave. Following an investigation, evidence indicates the caller, later identified as Brittaney Marcum, knew the suspects and was an accomplice in the robbery. Based on evidence, Marcum was taken into custody and booked into Ada County Jail on the listed charges.
Following further investigation, Boise Police Detectives identified the suspects from the robbery as Eddie Belen and Edward Prescott. On February 28, 2025, Detectives received information about Belen’s location and began a suspect search. Officers located the suspect at a business in Boise and took him into custody without incident. Belen was booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges are pending.
Boise Police are still looking for Edward Prescott, who has an active arrest warrant for robbery. He is described as a white male, approximately 5’10”, bald, and has blue eyes
