Boise Police arrested suspect Tiffani Mathes, on Monday, March 24, 2025, on 13 felony charges following an investigation into multiple vehicle burglaries last week.
The investigation began when officers responded to seven reports of vehicle burglaries on March 18, 2025, and March 19, 2025, in the area of Orchard St. and Targee St. Multiple items were stolen from the vehicles including victims’ financial transaction cards. During the investigation, officers found evidence that two of the victims' cards were used to purchase hundreds of dollars of items from a local retailer on two occasions. The suspect using the cards was identified as Tiffani Mathes. Officers located Mathes on the morning of March 24, 2025, and took her into custody. During the arrest, officers found Mathes to be in possession of drugs that field tested presumptive positive for controlled substances. Mathes was booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges.
