Arrested: Carlos Delgado-Aleman, 20, Boise, ID
Charges: Aggravated Assault (F) - 2 counts
On October 13, 2025, shortly before 6:30 p.m., Boise Police responded to reports of an armed subject at the Boise Town Square Mall and quickly secured the scene. The initial investigation determined that a male suspect had been involved in an altercation with employees at a store kiosk. Evidence indicates the suspect returned a short time later with a knife and threatened both kiosk employees before putting on a mask and fleeing the scene.
No other mall employees or visitors were directly threatened, and no injuries were reported during the incident.
Through further investigation, officers identified the suspect as Carlos Delgado-Aleman. On Tuesday, October 14, 2025, detectives with the Boise Police Violent Crimes Unit, working in coordination with Idaho Probation and Parole, contacted Delgado-Aleman, who was taken into custody without incident. He was booked into the Ada County Jail on the listed charges.
