On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, the suspect in a shooting on Saturday night was arrested following a traffic stop in Thurston County, Washington. Around 10:52 pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025, Boise Police responded to a report of a shooting on W. Forsythia Dr. Officers arrived to find one injured adult male victim out front of a house. Officers immediately provided medical aid, and Ada County Paramedics rushed the victim to a local hospital with injuries that appeared on scene to be serious but non-life-threatening. He was treated and later released from the hospital. Following an investigation, Boise Police detectives identified the suspect as Bennett Lembke, and a warrant was issued for his arrest. He was taken into custody without incident and booked into the Thurston County Jail on the listed charges.
