Boise State Football Returns to Albertsons Stadium

September 11, 2026

The first home game for the 2026 Boise State football season is Saturday, September 12, bringing fans back to the stadium and surrounding areas. As game day approaches, the Boise Police Department is reminding fans to plan ahead, make safe choices and be respectful of others while enjoying the game and activities around Boise State.

  • Plan a Safe Ride: If you plan to drink, don’t drive. Use a designated driver, ride-share service, taxi, or the free Game Day Shuttle.
  • Alcohol Rules: The 10 to 10 Zone allows alcohol consumption for those 21 and older from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on home game days. Alcohol outside this zone, including parking lots and neighborhood streets, is not permitted. Fans who are overly intoxicated may not be allowed entry into the game or could be subject to ejection.
  • Respect Neighbors and Businesses: Please be courteous. Use crosswalks, keep noise down, and dispose of trash properly.  Loud parties and noise violations can be reported by calling Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
  • Parking: Park legally and follow all posted signs. Vehicles parked too close to fire hydrants, stop signs, crosswalks, or driveways are subject to ticketing or towing. Neighborhood parking is very limited. Fans are encouraged to use garages, downtown parking, and the free shuttle to the stadium.
  • Stadium Entry: To speed up security lines, remember that Boise State enforces a clear bag policy. Leave large bags at home when possible.  To keep things moving smoothly, please plan to arrive early and allow extra time for entry screening.
  • Leave the Drone at Home: The FAA prohibits unauthorized drones at Albertsons Stadium around game time.  Fans should leave drones at home and check current FAA restrictions before flying.
