City of Boise Seeks Community Input on Climate Action

February 25, 2025

BOISE – The City of Boise is inviting residents to shape the future of climate action in our community. Boiseans can share their thoughts, experiences, and priorities regarding climate action by taking the Boise Community Climate Action Survey or by attending one of five community climate conversations. This community-led effort, guided by the Boise Community Climate Action Committee, will ensure the city’s climate action guide reflects the voices and vision of Boiseans.

“As we work to make Boise a leader in climate resilience, we need to hear directly from our community,” said Mayor Lauren McLean. “This is an opportunity for every resident to help create a more resilient Boise - now for our future generations.”

Those who sign up for one of the five community conversations will join a one-hour discussion designed to better understand their concerns, share their challenges, and explore solutions together at these neighborhood meetings:

  • Monday, March 3 6-7 p.m. at the Downtown Library
  • Tuesday, March 11 from 12-1 p.m. at the Collister Library
  • Saturday, March 22 from 12-1 p.m. at the Downtown Library
  • Thursday, April 3 from 5-6 p.m. the Bown Crossing Library
  • Thursday, April 10 from 6-7 p.m. at the Hillcrest Library

Residents can take the 5–7 minute online survey until April 21, 2025, and sign up for the community conversations at cityofboise.org/climateguide.
