BOISE - The City of Boise has upgraded its online utility bill payment system, requiring users to create a new account to continue online and automatic payments for their City of Boise utility bills. The new payment system is more secure and offers additional payment options, including:
- Digital wallets including PayPal, Venmo, Apple and Google Pay
- Credit and debit cards, including Discover and American Express
- 24-hour pay-by-phone
- AutoPay
- eCheck
Users who pay online or use AutoPay must create a new account by their next bill date on the 25th of the month. Customers on a payment plan must contact the city’s Utility Billing Department to continue payments. Those who pay by mail or ACH/eCheck are not impacted by this change and do not need to create a new account. Sign up and find step-by-step instructions for registration at CityofBoise.org/New-Bill-Pay
Residents who are facing hardship or struggling to pay their utility bills are encouraged to explore financial assistance resources at CityofBoise.org/Bill-Help.
For questions or assistance, contact the city’s Utility Billing Department at 208-608-7460 (TTY: 711) or through this online contact form.
