Coronavirus Closure and Service Changes
Due to community spread of COVID-19 in our city, City Hall is closed until at least January 15th. Community members can continue to schedule virtual appointments below or call (208) 608-7100 for Planning questions and (208) 608-7070 for Building questions. Public Record Requests can be filed online.
Additionally, from November 21, 2020 to January 15, 2021, inspections will only be conducted when and where safety protocols aimed at preventing the spread of COVID-19 are followed. Inspectors have the right to reschedule an inspection if they feel a site is not following proper preventative procedures. Similarly, we ask that you reschedule your inspection if you or anyone on your project is experiencing symptoms of COVID-19.

Planning and Development Services Appointments
Schedule an appointment with a permit technician, plans examiner or planner
In our continued efforts to provide quality customer service while protecting community health during the ongoing challenges posed by COVID-19, we’ve created an appointment system that allows you to schedule virtual and in-person appointments to speak with a Plans Examiner, Planner or Permit Technician.
Virtual appointments can be scheduled anytime within a 14-day window of the current date and within 36 hours advanced notice to allow staff to properly prepare for the meeting.
