The trailer has the essentials needed to host a block party:
- 6 tables
- 28 chairs
- 4 water jugs
- 3 ice chests
- Bluetooth speaker with microphone
- Shade canopy
- Lawn games: corn hole, giant block tower, checkers, tic-tac-toe, giant 4-in-a-row, and ladder golf
- Sports equipment: sidewalk chalk, jump ropes, and hula hoops
- Trash + recycling bins (bags provided)
- Safety cones
- First aid kit + fire extinguisher
Reserve the Trailer
PLEASE NOTE BEFORE YOU RESERVE: The Block Party Trailer will be available for community groups to reserve once per year, for weekend events within City limits occurring May through October. It is available for Boise residents on a first come, first served basis. The trailer will be delivered by a city team member on Friday and picked up the following Monday. Before using the Block Party Trailer, all groups will be required to read and sign a waiver, accepting responsibility for the trailer during their event. A city team member will deliver the trailer and provide an orientation to the equipment inside on the Friday before the event. The group hosting the neighborhood event will be responsible for identifying an appropriate place for the trailer to be parked.
