The City of Boise is committed to doing everything we can to ensure a home for those who choose to call Boise home, at every budget. This includes investing in tools like the Housing Land Trust, which focuses on the development and preservation of affordable housing on land that is owned by the city.
In December 2020, the City of Boise purchased a 0.94-acre property as part of the Housing Land Trust program. In partnership with The Pacific Companies, this development added 102 total housing units with 97 of them serving residents earning less than 80% of area median income.
