New Path 2.0 will create new homes for residents exiting homelessness who have long histories of homelessness and severe service needs. In partnership with The Pacific Companies, the city is providing $5.5 million in ARPA funding to construct these homes.
New Path 2.0 expands New Path which opened its doors in 2018 to 40 people exiting homelessness. Like New Path, these additional 95 homes will support Boise residents by providing them with a stable home and wraparounds support services, including case management, health care, and mental health counseling, the initiative aims to house 95 households. New Path 2.0 is anticipated to be completed in 2026.
