Know Before You Go

Downtown (and Beyond) Construction Impact Maps

The City of Boise has a thriving economic landscape with new businesses, hotels, establishments and improvements being built all over our city. During the Summer months, our partners – both public and private – are hard at work to bring new and exciting enhancements to our thriving downtown. While the City of Boise does not have oversight over our roads and sidewalks, we work closely with our partners at the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) and the Idaho Transportation Department (ITD) during the peak construction months. We are working together to ensure we can provide the most up to date information before you head downtown.

Roadwork, Closures and Detours

We aim to be intentional in communicating vehicle, bicycle and pedestrian closures and detours due to both roadwork and special events on our roads and the greenbelt. Use the date filter on this map to review what items could impact your travel through the city.
