The City of Boise is in the process of developing a comprehensive economic development strategic plan to streamline work around an economy that uplifts everyone in our community, with family wage jobs and access to opportunities. The effort will incorporate robust stakeholder and community input, with the city’s strategic priorities and the work of other key partners to build a city for everyone.
Mayor McLean’s vision incorporates priorities such as economic opportunity, inclusivity, mobility, transparency and innovation – and serves as a critical springboard for the project goals, including long-term economic health and durable resiliency.
The City of Boise has established a cross-departmental Technical Advisory Committee to guide the project. The team will work closely with community stakeholders and residents on fine-tuning the strategic plan to ensure that it meets the needs of our city.
