A New Community Resource

Jesse Tree at the Main Library

Boise Public Library has introduced a new community resource for residents. The fourth Tuesday of each month, Kyle Young, a licensed master social worker from Jesse Tree will be at the Main Library to provide crisis counseling and connect people with their rental assistance program to help prevent eviction and get residents back on their feet.

About Kyle

Kyle joined Jesse Tree in 2019 to fulfill his passion for ending homelessness in the Treasure Valley. Previously, Kyle played an important role as an Outreach Coordinator for people experiencing homelessness for New Path Community Housing, conducted case management and housing navigation in Ada County for Our Path Home, and worked with Assertive Community Treatment Team to help treat people with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Outside the office, Kyle is an amateur weightlifter and a frequent coffee drinker at Slow by Slow in downtown Boise.
