The 25-mile Boise River Greenbelt is one of Boise’s most beloved parks. The tree-lined, paved pathway follows the Boise River through the heart of the city. This important transportation corridor offers access to downtown Boise and many of the city’s popular parks.
Ridge to Rivers
The Ridge to Rivers Trail System is comprised of more than 200 miles of trails across the Boise Foothills. They provide scenic views and offer fitness adventures for all skill levels.

The Jim Hall Foothills Learning Center is an education center focused on teaching kids and adults about the Boise Foothills and the surrounding high-desert environment. Additional programming, including Boise Outdoor Preschool, is offered on site year-round.
Boise Urban Garden School
Boise Urban Garden School (BUGS) is a specialized, inquiry-based education organization that uses an organic garden as the foundation for hands-on learning. Through youth and adult classes, camps and activities, visitors learn about the environment, farm-to-table cooking and more.
