Adult Volleyball

Boise Parks and Recreation Department offers organized weeknight adult league volleyball at all levels of play. Programs are available for ages 16 and older. Men's (P-3) and women's (P-7) leagues are offered in the fall and spring and a coed league is offered in the winter.  

Registration is accepted on a team basis only.

Need Players?

Want to play in an adult sports league but don't have enough players to form a team? Contact our department to be added to a free agent list. Players can get picked up by teams needing additional teammates or if we have enough players on the list, we can create new teams. There is no guarantee that by being placed on the free agent list, that you will be placed on a team. To get on the list call 208-608-7651 or send us an email.

The current schedules for divisions are as follows:

Mondays

  • Power
  • C4

Tuesdays

  • C1
  • C5

Wednesdays

Thursdays

Divisions of Play

All players must be 16 or older for both divisions of play.

Power

Highly competitive and skilled, similar to college volleyball play.

Competitive

Must be able to play with the correct techniques similar to high school or college play.    Must be able to bump, set, and spike correctly.   Lower league must be able to bump with their hands together, set the ball without it resting on the palms/fingers or rolling off the fingers. Levels of play:  Comp 1-7, 1 being the higher level of ability, one step below the Power league with 7 being the lower ability level.

League Descriptions

Fall League

League play runs one night a week from September through November. There will be 8 league games with a single-elimination tournament for the top league finishers. 

Coed Winter League

League play runs one night a week from November through January. There will be 8 league games with a single elimination tournament for the top league finishers.

Spring League

League play runs one night a week from February through April. There will be 8 league games with a single elimination tournament for the top league finishers.
