My daughter LOVED it and I felt so comfortable and relieved dropping her off each day to such an attentive and caring team. I know these will be childhood summer memories that she will cherish forever.
Playcamp Parent

Since the mid 1970s, Boise Parks and Recreation’s Playcamps have provided fun, active, and engaging outdoor day camps for kids during the summer. Playcamps are week-long day camps designed for children entering 1st through 6th grade, offered at 10 different parks across Boise. Each camp is packed with exciting activities that promote healthy recreation and support both the physical and social development of your child.

Camp activities may include:

  • Recreational games
  • Arts and crafts
  • Environmental education
  • Hands-on science projects
  • Swimming
  • Field trips and more!

Our Playcamp staff are certified in CPR and First Aid, and are knowledgeable in the principles of child development to ensure your child’s experience is both safe and positive.

Ages: Playcamp enrollment is open to elementary students entering 1st-6th grade. Children entering 7th grade in the upcoming school year are not eligible for Playcamp.
