Norco, Inc. Est. 1948

Norco Inc.
"Serving you better"
Owners: Kissler family & Norco employees

Norco began in 1948 as the welding supply division of the Nordling Auto Parts Company. Purchased in 1968 by Larry and Fran Kissler, the original Norco branch was at the corner of River Street and Americana Boulevard. In 1976, the Norco main office relocated to its current site at 1125 W. Amity, Boise, expanding there to a three-story office building and a central warehouse in 1995.

The original downtown Boise location is an important part of Norco history. It represents the firm’s humble beginnings, and is a testament to the company’s steady growth as a major welding, safety, medical gases and supply company with more than 70 branches in seven western states. The unique building with its floor-to-ceiling windows is occupied in 2017 by Bliss Events, which takes advantage of the great window space for creative displays.
