City Council Meetings
Boise City Council meetings are held in the Maryanne Jordan City Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall and virtually on the City of Boise Public Meetings YouTube channel. The meeting's end time depends on the length of the agenda. All public meetings are held in a “hybrid” format allowing both virtual and in-person attendance:
- Watch Live (YouTube)
All applicants, neighbors and residents are strongly encouraged to attend virtually. If you just want to watch the meeting, you can do so on the City of Boise Public Meetings YouTube channel.
- Attend at City Hall
Due to the Governor's Stage 2 Public Health Order, the City Council Chambers at City Hall have extremely limited availability of no more than 10 people, which includes necessary city staff. We ask people to participate virtually if possible to ensure that in-person space is available to those without access to technology.

About the City Council
All City Council meetings are open to the public, except for the Executive Sessions which deal with personnel, litigation and other items specifically allowed by the Idaho Open Meetings Law.
While the meetings are open to the public, not all agenda items are subject to public testimony. If you would like to contact a Council Member on an item that is not on the public hearing calendar, contact the City Council office to be put in touch with a Council Member directly.
If you are interested in testifying on a public hearing item, a sign-up sheet is available before each meeting in the lobby outside of the Council Chambers. After everyone who has signed up to testify has done so, the Mayor and Council will accept comment from anyone present who was not able to sign-up before the meeting.
