State of the City

September 23, 2020 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.

From Mayor McLean:

This year we’ve navigated many difficult situations, and we continue to learn and make decisions about them, including COVID-19.

I am proud that we have done this work together as a community. The State of the City event on September 23 will focus on just that: coming together as a community in difficult times and using the lessons to create a better future. We will explore where we’ve been, where we’re headed, and the importance of doing it as a community.

We’ll discuss collective achievements and our shared vision for Boise. One that focuses on the values we all hold close: a safe and thriving community, neighborhood connectedness, and opportunity for all.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year's event will be virtual. I look forward to sharing my direction for Boise with you - and look forward to this virtual event together.

The 2020 State of the City is put on by the Boise Metro Chamber of Commerce and will premiere on their website at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23.
