Idaho Youth Adaptive Sports Camp

June 19-22, 2024 8:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

The 36th Annual Idaho Youth Adaptive Sports Camp will take place June 19-22 at Fort Boise Community Center in Boise, Idaho.

This camp is offered to youth and teens age 6-19 who's primary disability is a physical disability that limits mobility. Young athletes with physical disabilities who use a wheelchair, AFO braces, walker or crutches are welcome to attend.

During the camp we will play and learn a variety of adaptive sports and this is the perfect time for youth athletes with physical disabilities who use a wheelchair or could use a wheelchair to participate in sports! During the four days, we will play wheelchair basketball, wheelchair tennis, softball and try sports out such as handcycling, canoeing, fishing, and more!

The athletes work with coaches who are adaptive sport athletes themselves. Each athlete will be paired with a volunteer who will help support and cheer as needed.

Registration for camp will begin Wednesday, April 3. The registration fee of $71 covers 4 days of camp, all meals, volunteer support and a camp T-shirt. 

Financial scholarships are available. There is late fee for those who register after May 17.

    Learning and playing a variety of team sports.
  • Friday, June 21 | 8:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m.
    Canoeing/kayaking or fishing in the morning, activities at Boise State University in the afternoon, then the infamous Mystery Field Trip after dinner.
  • Saturday, June 22 | 8:30 a.m.–1 p.m.
    Family day at Fort Boise Community Center then lunch.
