Meet and Greet - All Abilities Welcome

In partnership with Disability Rights of Idaho (DRI), Special Olympics of Idaho, and Idaho Parents Unlimited (IPUL)

The community is invited to join police officers, firefighters, paramedics, and other Boise public safety professionals in a meet and greet event. Attendees can ask questions and share stories with BPD officers, as well as explore vehicles and safety gear. Organizations wishing to take part in the event can contact crimeprevention@cityofboise.org.

Tentative Schedule:

• 11:00 - Doors open
• 11:10 - Pared down lights in the back of City Hall West
• 12:45 - Fire water Demo (no lights/sirens)
• 1:30 - Announcements about lights/sirens
• 1:45 - Police lights/siren
• 1:46 - Fire lights/siren
• 1:47 - EMS Demo

Drone and K9 will have small demos throughout the day.
