Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Board

The Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Board hears appeals of decisions which govern the design, construction, installation, expansion and alteration of plumbing, mechanical or fuel gas systems; reviews updated plumbing codes, ordinance updates, amendments and fee update proposals, and makes recommendations to City Council.

About the Board Members

The Plumbing, Mechanical and Fuel Gas Board has seven members who serve a four-year terms. Board members can serve an unlimited number of terms.

A minimum of four members must reside in Boise city limits and any members not residing in Boise must be a resident of Ada County and transact business in Boise.
