Joint Investigation Results in Arson Arrest

John Vearl Plumer was arrested on November 12 and charged with Arson I after an investigation by Boise Fire and Garden City Police. The fire happened on Monday night in the 4000 block of Chinden Boulevard. When Boise Fire crews arrived at around 9:30 p.m. they found the bed of a pickup truck had been set on fire. After a joint investigation, conducting witness interviews and reviewing video from a local business, they were able to identify Plumer as a suspect. He is being held in the Ada County Jail.
