City of Boise Seeking Applicants for Capital City Development Corporation Board Opening

September 28, 2021

Boise residents interested in serving on the Capital City Development Corporation (CCDC) Board of Commissioners can now apply. Commissioner Kate Nelson is stepping down due to her new role as Director of Community Partnerships at the City of Boise.

CCDC is a public redevelopment agency that serves as a catalyst for quality private development through urban design, economic development, and infrastructure investment.

Commissioners are selected by the mayor and confirmed by the Boise City Council. With up to nine voting members, the commissioners represent, as much as possible, the broad spectrum of people who enjoy all that Boise has to offer. Geographic diversity, as well as expertise and experience in areas relevant to the committee’s purpose, will be considered in the appointment process.

Meeting Frequency: Ability to meet monthly. Meetings are typically held the second Monday of the month beginning at noon.

Commission members must be residents of the City of Boise and be willing to serve a five-year term.

A cover letter and resume can be emailed to commissionapplications@cityofboise.org. The deadline to apply for the board opening is October 15, 2021 at 5 p.m.
