Crash investigation leads to arrest

Charges: Driving under the influence - Aggravated (F)

On Saturday, August 15, 2020 around 9:30 pm Boise Police officers were dispatched to a reported hit and run at W. Rose Hill and S. Ruby Street.  Initial information suggested a truck had a hit a bicyclist before leaving the scene. Officers arrived along with Ada County Paramedics and Boise Fire who began providing medical aid to the victim.  Officers began an investigation and were able to locate a truck nearby that evidence indicated was involved in the crash.  Officers identified the driver and after an investigation, the driver Jeremiah Lally, was arrested for felony aggravated driving under the influence.  The victim, an adult male, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.  The investigation is ongoing.
