BPD investigating fatal crash

This morning around 6:25 a.m. Boise Police responded to an injury crash near the intersection of Cole and Overland.  Preliminary information indicated a sedan driver was leaving a parking lot on the north side of Overland and was struck by a pickup truck driver headed westbound on Overland.  The driver of the sedan was rushed to a local hospital but was pronounced deceased.  Boise Police detectives and a crash reconstruction team responded to the scene to investigate and that investigation is ongoing.  Anyone who witnessed the crash, and has not yet talked to police, is asked to call dispatch at 208-377-6790 or Crime Stoppers: at 208-343-COPS (2677), www.343COPS.com, or leave a tip using the “P3 Tips” app for your mobile device.
