This afternoon, Boise Police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle and possible armed subjects in a school parking lot near the 8000 block of W. Salt Creek Dr. The school resource officer on campus immediately located the vehicle and coordinated the quick response from incoming patrol officers, additional school resource officers and Ada County Sheriff’s deputies. The school was put on lockdown and the suspects were quickly detained. Officers located firearms in the vehicle. There is no evidence at this time that the subjects intended to bring the firearms into the school. After an investigation, two suspects, one adult and one juvenile were charged with misdemeanor possession of a firearm on school grounds.
